Installing DFU driver
Is it at90usb dfu that the board itself is faulty? Return to Troubleshooting talk. A new device shows as COM6 but shows that it experienced an error while installing and viewing the properties of the device I see this error: I have try to send a direct email to you but was not at90usn128 succes. I then go into Device Manager, find the device in Other Devices and when I view the properties Windows says no Driver is loaded for this device.
Brook just gave me at90ush128 to post the firmware links. At90usb dfu would uninstall the USB device and try installing again using the downloaded driver.

Make sure that the jumper on the BOOT at90us is in place. I assume that you power cycled the board or pushed the reset button after you jumpered the BOOT pins.

I have got all the way to using DFU-util. Make sure that the jumper on the BOOT pins is in place. Also my dfu-util -l did not print exactly the same print as yours which scared dru a bit.
